Welcome to another episode of the California Gold Rush Experience! I'm your host, Boots (AKA Mr. Gold), and today, we’re talking about how you can help bring the excitement of the California Gold Rush to students across the state!

 Did you know that the California Gold Rush is a 4th-grade state education standard? This pivotal moment in history transformed California and shaped its future. However, many students never get the chance to experience gold prospecting firsthand.

 Many schools, especially those in low-income (Title 1) districts, simply can’t afford field trips or hands-on learning experiences like ours. Plus, as gold prices continue to rise—nearing $3,000 per ounce—the cost of this experience increases, making it even harder for schools to participate.

 Since the California Gold Rush Experience is centrally located in the state—and not near large gold deposits—we bring the adventure directly to schools! Here’s what we provide for 4th-grade students:

✅ A Gold Rush Workbook full of fun, interactive lessons.
✅ A hands-on gold claim setup right on their school site.
✅ Gold panning lessons, where every student receives a bag of paydirt containing gold, gems, crystals, and cool rocks—and whatever they find, they keep! 

Some schools turn us down due to a lack of funding—but you can change that!
